My 36 years in homeopathic practice have taught me that the body has a lot of capacity, and homeopathy has tremendous scope in empowering and optimising this body. Homeopathy can help in various ways in every disease if the clinical picture is clear. I do feel diagnosis should be clear and how exactly homeopathy can help. Homeopathy can be given along with allopathy for support to begin with and then withdrawn gradually—of course, every case is different.
I strongly believe that the body heals naturally, and we need to just help it. Stress and thinking patterns, our past life, all influence us at the mind and body level, and hence change is important at all levels that we are capable of.
It's important to have empathy towards the patient, understand their pathology, and treat them without any bias. I am always focused on patients getting better and ready to do more to achieve this objective—so often, my patients become friends!
